We were all humans until

     our appetites killed us

our egos disconnected us,

    our animals despised us,

Our earth loathed us – alas –

  our language dispersed us,

and politics divided us.
Our wealth classified us,

    our doctrines separated us

And our Race dehumanised us!

  Until God became human and brought us back to life.
